Digital Marketing Specialist

We require an enthusiastic, energetic and adaptable individual to join our growing team. The primary purpose of the Digital marketing specialist is to provide proactive support to our online digital platform in accordance with toolsoup’s business needs.

This role will, initially, be focused on a specific project to launch our app and brand within the home consumer market in the UK and build a presence in the market over the following six months.

Following on, this role will build on the momentum gained in the first six months and build a following and network effect growth of our platform. Thereafter we expect to break into additional countries around the world.

Our platform has been developed using Microsoft technologies. This will be a varied role, which may require someone to work on several initiatives at one time.

 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Work alongside our digital marketing partners on the launch, roll out and marketing strategy plan
  • Generate, develop and maintain new content on our website and other platforms
  • Write blogs and other copy for publication on our website and other platforms
  • Run the e-marketing schedule within the launch plan and following period
  • Build customer journey maps and develop further customer user stories
  • Run and develop online marketing tools
  • Develop and maintain our online feedback tool and be able to analyse relevant detail
  • Work alongside our user testing partners in line with the launch plan
  • Support the integration and use of processes and innovation within the product
  • Work closely with our Product Manager, app developers, digital marketing specialists, and attend project briefings as required. You will also be required to deliver tasks to tight deadlines to meet product deadlines and needs
  • Assist with developing documentation for processes and procedures as part of the product success
  • Take full ownership of individual digital marketing projects assigned
  • Event attendance and management which may include UK and overseas travel

Technical and Person Specification: 

  • Qualified to degree level
  • Experience of online marketing tools including Hubspot, Facebook ads, Google ads, Instagram, LinkedIn & Twitter including SEO
  • Experience in writing copy; technical and general
  • Experience in blogs, email & organic social media reach tools
  • Experience of email campaigns
  • Experience of digital networks and e-commerce platforms – desirable
  • Experience of analysing data from app and analytic tools
  • Experience in event marketing – desirable
